Odor Control

Chemicals have been used for odor control for over ten years with varying results. Many of the inadequate systems use low-pressure systems or fans thinking they are achieving the same effect as with the fog system. The key element in odor control is the exposure of the odor control chemical to the maximum possible area of malodor. By using a fog system the ratio between the surface area and the volume of chemical is at its maximum. Droplets less than 1/10th the size of a human hair exhibit a large surface area for the volume. The water in the molecule flash evaporates leaving the odor chemical free to attach itself to the malodor using van deWaal's law; successfully attaching itself and falling to the ground to biodegrade.
Odor Control
Odor Control is used to eliminate malodors in transfer and waste stations.

The ACT Group can supply the delivery systems as well as a complete range of chemicals suitable for use in high-pressure systems. Note that some chemicals can block nozzles and filters and/or precipitate in the nozzles after use. Please consult with The ACT Group for the most complete range of available chemicals.

reducing odor and dust
Not only reducing odor & dust -- systems keep employees cool.

The addition of wind sensors, pulsing solenoids and temperature controllers enhances the operation of the system and reduces chemical usage to a minimum. Electronic recorders and sensors can record operation and presence of malodors and chemical delivery for presentation to air quality controllers or management.

All systems are manufactured specifically for the industrial market and can be adapted for portable or non-electrical operation. Service contracts and complete PM contracts are available from Corporate Headquarters in Fontana.
