Mine Duty/Mill Duty Drum Pulleys

  • Engineered for the roughest applications, rugged Douglas Mine/Mill Duty Drum Pulleys are intended for use in critical applications where down time must be minimized
  • Heavy construction reduces the likelihood of metal fatigue and pulley failure in severe applications minimizing down-time and maintenance

Standard Heavy Duty Wing Self-Cleaning Pulleys

  • Douglas Solid 3/4" Steel round bar wing tips wear longer and retain roundness.
  • Wears twice as long as other manufacturers formed flat bar or 1/4 round
  • Protects underside of belt from cuts, smoother running
  • Large pulleys are fitted with 1" solid steel bars for long life

Idlers

 

Trac-Mount™ Idler

Martin® Trac-Mount™ Idlers utilize sliding frames on a stationary base to provide an idler set that will fit in tight spaces between belt support cradles and allows easy installation and service. Trac-Mount™ Idlers are available with standard or wide base frames and utilize impact or steel rolls in CEMA class A, B, C, D or E.

Features and Benefits:

  • Slide-in frames need only eight inches (203 mm) of width for 6-inch (152 mm) rolls.
  • Slide-out/slide-in roller frames allows idler service without need to raise belt or remove adjacent idlers.
  • Trac-Mount™ Idlers provide proper belt carriage while they stabilize the belt line to improve sealing.
  • Assemblies are supplied with steel or impact rolls from Precision Pulley and Idler.

Custom Engineering

  • Martin Engineering can custom-design Martin® Trac-Mount™ Idlers to meet unique application requirements. Troughed Idler with Permanent Sealed Bearings

Douglas® manufactured Idlers are engineered for demanding CEMA B, C or D applications with interference fit between the shaft and the bearing for improved sealing, better stability and longer life. Douglas® idlers are available in a wide variety of configurations including: troughing, return, impact, rubber disc return, self-aligning trough, self-aligning return, scale Quality and live shaft. Douglas® idlers meet or exceed CEMA standard NO. 502-2004.
